One of my favorites!

The Innocent Mage by Karen Miller is easily one of my favorite books. I love the interplay between politics, law, and morality. Also, the bad guy is hilarious! Oh, he's bad, very bad, but really funny.

This novel and it's sequel The Awakened Mage have a permanent home on my bookshelf.
